In the Greek refugee camp Kara Tepe on the island of Lesbos, around 6,000 people are currently living under the most difficult conditions, including people with severe disabilities. The Mainz doctor Gerhard Trabert and his association “Poverty and Health in Germany” endeavor to bring ten severely disabled men and women with their families to the Federal Republic in order to be able to provide them with adequate care.
